Announcing Haw River Farmhouse Ales

The beer here is different from beers you find in other craft breweries. They are committed to the Belgian style of beer, and they are very good at what they do. They also are committed to using local ingredients which is commendable. I tried a number of beers while here and was not disappointed by any of them. The standout for me was the Sun Hands Belgian Summer Golden. Other beers worth mentioning: Salt & Smoke Grisette, Rusted Plow Farmhouse Saison, and Citramelon Belgian White IPA.”

Haw River handcrafts traditional European-style ales with a little southern flair, using locally-grown ingredients. Family-owned from Day One and located in the heart of Saxapahaw since 2014. We are so excited that they’ll be here serving up cold, local beer for the Festival!
